FAQ

We are now looking for either paid teachers or volunteers to teach the Hong Kong local curricular academic subjects on the weekdays after school hours

Not necessarily, as long as you attend at least one shadow lesson with BTC.

Yes please, you will have to meet Mrs Mehta for her approval before offering your service.

For weekday tutorials, each session lasts for 1 hour. For weekend extracurricular activities, each workshop last for 1 to 2 hours every Saturday.

We expect both paid or volunteer teachers to commit for at least 3 months, as it helps the child to bond with the volunteer/ teacher.

Teaching is tailored to a local-based program. Since the students attend local schools, therefore these children need support to learn their local school curriculum.

Once a week only, but if you would like to give more of your time, we would be delighted to arrange a suitable time for you to tutor students who may require extra lessons.

Both boys and girls range from 6 – 18 years.

Student to teacher ratio is 1 : 1 or group of 3.

You may provide financial support, join our field trips and outings, sponsor simple snacks /refreshments, sponsor school bags, school uniform, shoes, raincoats, umbrellas, stationery, clothing and household items, provide job opportunities, sponsor a child, sponsor medical treatment in case of emergency.

A note of appreciation will be provided upon request.
